“When I first started working with Susan, I had a number of projects that had been overwhelming me with their scope and complexity. The most important (and daunting) project on my plate was the raise of our first fund. With Susan’s help, I reframed the project, dramatically simplified my strategy and tactics, and completely changed my interaction with potential targets. Ultimately, I achieved the results I desired, successfully raising the fund. More importantly, I had fun in the process.
I should mention that Susan is not just a terrific business coach, but an outstanding life coach as well. My relationships with my family have never been better, and with better time management, my work-life balance is outstanding.”

The life of the executive can often be thrilling and challenging, or overwhelming and frustrating. Competing demands for your time at work and home, frequent organizational changes, and lack of real clarity about the outcome you are working towards can sap the energy of even the most motivated of executives.
Meritage coaching will accelerate your ability to create the impact you truly desire in your career, and in your whole life.
An Integrated Approach
Why your “whole life”? Because we find an integrated approach manifests an integrated life. Each aspect fueling success in the other -- a fulfilled life. A whole life.
Often, we may begin working with an executive who is interested in gaining more traction in one particular aspect of his or her life. And that is a great way to start! It may be primarily in the “Executive Coaching” realm (such as launching a new organizational initiative or driving team alignment), or predominately in the “Life Coaching” realm (such as balancing family life or interests outside of work).
But we don’t stop there. The insights generated in one aspect of our lives can actually have deep relevance and applicability to other parts of our lives. Is your home life fulfilling but your work life under siege? Or perhaps the reverse? By making changes in one area of your life, the kaleidoscope shifts, yet we don’t often see the linkages to other parts of our lives or ourselves. People can take their work frustrations home with them into their relationships. Worries about money will affect the quality of their leisure time and what they see is possible in their career. Health challenges will impact success at work. Compartmentalizing our lives doesn’t really work.
Where do you see symmetry and where do you see dissonance in the whole life you are living? Where is it possible to translate the success in one area of your life into success in another? What would it be like to be more fulfilled in all aspects of your life?
